At the UFC 287 event on Saturday night in Miami’s Kaseya Center, an enthusiastic round of applause broke out when former President Donald Trump entered the arena with Kid Rock, Mike Tyson, and UFC president Dana White, all taking a seat in the front row together.

Donald Trump Jr., the former president’s eldest son, was also in attendance, Yahoo! News reported, and he posted a photo on Instagram of his father, White, Rock, and Tyson seated in the front row together.

UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal leads crowd in “Let’s go Brandon” chant

While the main event of the night was between UFC fighters Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira, another match between fighter Jorge Masvidal, dubbed “the King of Miami,” and Gilbert Burns was perhaps most memorable for what happened after the bout.

Masvidal, who is a vocal Trump supporter, lost his match. However, when he was interviewed in the ring by comedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan, he announced he was retiring from MMA, with the match marking the final professional fight of his 20-year career, the New York Post reported. Masvidal holds the record for the fastest knockout in UFC history at only five seconds into a fight.

Masvidal then took the mic to give a shoutout to Trump.

“I wanted to say, greatest president in the history of the world sitting right there,” Masvidal said, pointing to the 76-year-old ex-president, as the crowd erupted in cheers. “I love that guy.”
