Ben Affleck’s hidden talent leaves fans shocked

We all know actors have to learn all types of things to play their roles, from dialects to personality quirks to bodily postures and movements, but Ben Affleck has revealed a hidden talent that has WOWED and shocked fans.

The Internet still can’t believe Ben Affleck’s hidden talent is for real

Ben Affleck recently made the rounds while promoting his new movie Air, about Michael Jordan, in which he plays Phil Knight, the co-founder of Nike. Ben unveiled a hidden talent no one was prepared for and initially thought the actor might be, well, acting. But when people realized it was for real, Affleck seems to have blown the Internet’s mind.

Ben Affleck stuns with this hidden talent… See for yourself!

So what is Ben Affleck’s hidden talent? Apparently, Ben has been keeping it way on the down low that he is pretty much totally fluent in Spanish, not only knowing the proper words (most of the time) but completely nailing the accent.

Numerous videos have circulated on the Internet such as this one with Canen SCR.

Affleck barely stumbled, once catching himself trying to remember the Spanish word for “character,” Unilad noted. However, when someone off-camera offers the word to help, Affleck remembers, and says it simultaneously: “Personaje!”

Affleck first learned Spanish while acting in Mexico in his beginning teens

After the video went viral, Affleck appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she asked him if it was true that he speaks Spanish fluently.

Affleck responded, “I would say passively.”

“I did this, like, a little kids TV series when I was young, and when I was thirteen,” Affleck recalled. “That season, that year, was in Mexico. And so, I was in Mexico for a year and that’s how I picked it up.”

Affleck also shared that his fourteen-year-old daughter with actress Jennifer Garner, Violet, is interested in Spanish, so he often offers to help her. He said she’s now gotten to the grade where she is and the harder Spanish classes, CNN reported.

“She’s getting better,” Affleck said, “and she’s like right at the point where I think she might be passing me.”

“And that was when I was like, nope, this is not happening,” Affleck continued. “I don’t mind that I can’t do your math homework and you’re fourteen years old. But you are not going to be better Spanish than me.”

“And so, I decided I’ve got to do something,” Affleck added. “I’ve got to do something to keep up because I can’t have my fourteen-year-old, she’s like, ‘that sounds ridiculous. You’re not using the imperfect tense.'”

“I know three tenses,” Affleck admitted. “Now, before, the future. That’s all you need.”
