Problem princes: Prince Harry angry at being lumped in with Prince Andrew

Prince Harry “resents” being lumped in with the disgraced Prince Andrew and being considered as one of the pair of “problem princes” by the Royal Family. The so-called Spare is issuing numerous new demands, says a source close to the Royals.

Prince Harry not happy being considered “problem prince” along with Andrew

Prince Harry isn’t at all happy that the Royal Family is lumping him in the same category as his disgraced, wayward uncle, Prince Andrew, as the pair has been dubbed behind the scenes as the “problem princes,” according to a source close to the Royals.

The Duke of Sussex doesn’t like the fact that he is being compared to his uncle, the Duke of York, Soap Spoiler reported. For starters, Harry and his wife Meghan left the royal family of their own accord and were not forced out as a working member like Andrew.

“He resents being lumped together with Andrew in the public mind as the two ‘problem Princes’ when he considers the circumstances to be totally different,” the source said.

Andrew’s disgrace

In light of Andrew’s friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and being a defendant in a civil lawsuit over sexual assault, in which Andrew denied any wrongdoing and settled out of court in February 2022. He resigned from public roles, and his honorary military affiliations and royal charitable patronages were removed by Elizabeth II in January 2022. He retains the title His Royal Highness, but no longer uses it in a public capacity, and can continue to use the title of the Duke of York. However, several York councilors are calling for Andrew to lose the title of Duke of York.

Royal feud: Harry has demands before attending coronation of King Charles

Reportedly, Prince Harry has a number of demands before he commits to attending the coronation of King Charles, Britain’s News Channel reported.

“Harry’s camp made clear that the idea that he would just attend the Coronation and behave himself but then be stripped of his titles was a total non-starter,” according to a source. “While he might decide at some point to discard his titles of his own volition, he objects to the idea of being forcibly stripped of them.”

The source says The King asked his close friend Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, to help broker a deal with Harry and Meghan.

According to a source, the Duke of Sussex might be offered assurance he can keep his titles as an “inducement” to attend the service, as well as a “high-profile seating position” for the Coronation should he attend the event.
