Sharon Osbourne suffers medical emergency while filming a new paranormal activity show

TV personality and longtime music manager Sharon Osbourne was filming an episode of a new paranormal activity show with her son Jack when she suffered a “medical emergency” and had to be rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred in Santa Paula at the Glen Tavern Inn. Ventura County fire Department responded to the call around 6:30 PM and transported Osbourne to the Santa Paula Hospital, the New York Post reported.

Jack Osborne clarifies misinformation

A number of media outlets reported that the “medical emergency” with Sharon Osbourne occurred while she was filming an episode of the Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures. However, Jack Osbourne took to social media to clarify misinformation about what actually occurred, Fox reported.

“Ok, here is what I’ll say – first things first MY MOTHER WASN’T FILMING AN EPISODE OF @ghostadventures,” Jack Osborne wrote in a post on his Instagram story. “She was filming an episode of Night of Terror with me. Hahaha.”

“Now that we have made that clear,” Jack continued, “She has been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support.”

“As to what happened to my mum,” Jack added, “I’m gonna leave it to her to share about it when she’s ready.”

A source familiar with the matter told the NY Post that the incident was “non-life-threatening.”

Osbourne was hospitalized last year

Last year, Sharon Osbourne also was hospitalized and gave an update on her health online.

“I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for covid 19,” Osborne wrote. “After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative).”

“Everyone please stay safe and healthy,” Sharon added.

After her termination from the CBS talk show The Talk and 2021, Sharon joined British television channel TalkTV, hosting a prime-time show titled The Talk.

Besides appearing on the TV reality show The Osbournes, Sharon also was on The X Factor, America’s Got Talent, and The Celebrity Apprentice.

Sharon is the daughter of music producer Don Arden, who managed Black Sabbath. She took over managing Ozzy Osbourne, helping him to a massively successful solo career. She later managed a number of other rock artists, including Gary Moore, Motörhead, Lita Ford, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Coal Chamber.
