Trump and Associates plotting ways to get revenge on NY DA Bragg

A report has surfaced that claims Donald Trump and his inner circle are drawing up potential plans for taking revenge on Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg for his investigation into the former president.

The claims come from two sources familiar with the matter and two other people close to Trump, who spoke to Rolling Stone, Yahoo News reports.

“I have been [present] when the [former] president has asked people to draw up a plan for how to deal with Alvin Bragg and how the Department of Justice could respond to Bragg’s ‘illegal’ investigation of the president,” one of the sources familiar with the situation recalled to Rolling Stone.

“This happened after we casually discussed with him some of our ideas for how this could work, and how it corresponds with his bigger agenda for ‘law and order’ policies,” the source explained.

Yahoo reported that a Trump spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment, as well as a spokesperson for Bragg’s office declined to comment on Rolling Stone’s reporting.

Trump claims Bragg “has already dropped” the “fake case” against him

While speaking to reporters aboard his jet on Saturday night, former President Donald Trump claimed that Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg had “dropped” the investigation into the “hush money” payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, the New York Post reported.

“I think they’ve already dropped the case,” Trump said. “It’s a fake case. Some fake cases, they have absolutely nothing.”

Trump gave no further comment on what led him to draw such a conclusion.

NYPD investigating suspicious “white powder” and threatening note mailed to Bragg

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg was mailed an envelope containing a suspicious “white powder,” a spokesperson from the New York Police Department (NYPD) confirmed to Law&Crime.

The NYPD gave few details, only saying that an envelope was received “inside the location” at about 12:03 PM ET.

Both NBC News and Fox News reported that the envelope included a letter that read: “ALVIN: I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! “

A spokesperson for the NYPD said the substance was deemed “non-hazardous,” but declined to comment further on the matter, as well as declined to confirm the contents of the note, The Hill reported.

“The D.A. has informed the office that it was immediately contained and that the NYPD Emergency Service Unit and the NYC Department of Environmental Protection determined there was no dangerous substance,” Bragg’s office said in a statement.
