Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen Have Reportedly Hired Divorce Lawyers

Rumors have swirled about marital issues between legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen over the last few months–and now a new report says the pair have hired divorce lawyers.

Rumors of a troubled marriage

The rumors began to swirl when Tom Brady didn’t show up for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp after deciding to come out of retirement. In fact, Brady didn’t suit up with the team until late August, CBSSports reported. At the time, spokespeople insisted that Tom was spending some time with the family in the Bahamas–a vacation previously scheduled before he decided to un-retire. Reportedly, he spent eleven days there.

Shortly after his return, he talked about the challenge of balancing family and football, telling reporters, “I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s— going on,” NBC Sports reported.

But following his return, the rumors of marriage troubles arose. Talk persisted that Gisele was upset with Tom’s decision to return for a 23rd NFL season after announcing his retirement in early February.

Then reports emerged that the two were living separately.

Insiders say Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have hired divorce lawyers

In an exclusive report, Page Six said they confirmed with multiple sources that both Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have retained divorce lawyers. The report also confirmed that, following an epic flight, the two have been living separately for the past couple of months.

“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, one source said, “but it looks like it is.”

“I don’t think there will be any coming back now,” the source added. “They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”

Brady and Bundchen were married in 2009 and share two children – Benjamin, age 14, and Vivian, age 9. Brady also has a 15-year-old son, Jack, from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynihan.

If this power couple does split, they will have to divide up a multimillion-dollar empire. They own real estate worth an estimated $26 million, including a $17 million home in Miami, Florida; a $3.6 million condo in the Tribeca area of New York City, New York; A $5.7 million property in Montana; and what is believed to be a vacation home in Costa Rica, which is allegedly Bündchen’s favorite property, NESN reports.
