Nostradamus and Baba Vanga have shocking predictions for 2023

Two of the world’s most renowned psychics – Nostradamus, the world-famous astrologer, and Baba Vanga, the blind mystic – have some shocking predictions for 2023. What do these legendary seers, both renowned for their uncanny accuracy, think will happen in the coming year?

Nostradamus’s 2023 predictions

Here are Nostradamus’s frightening 2023 predictions as first reported by the New York Post.

1. Global warming will lead to lots of dead fish, especially in the Black Sea. “Like the sun the head shall sear the shining sea: The Black Sea’s living fish shall all but boil.”

2. Buckingham palace will be set ablaze. “Celestial fire on the royal edifice.”

3. World War III. “Seven months great war, people dead through evil.”

4. An antichrist will appear. “The antichrist very soon annihilates the three. Twenty-seven years his war will last. The unbelievers are dead, captive, exiled. With blood, human bodies, water and red hail covering the earth.”

Who was Nostradamus?

Nostradamus, a 16th-century seer often referred to as the “prophet of doom,” has been credited with correctly foretelling a number of future events. Here are his most famous: The death of Henry II, The Great Fire of London, Hitler’s rise to power, the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs, the Kennedy assassination, the September 11 attacks, and even the COVID pandemic.

Michel de Nostredame (December 1503 – July 1566), mostly referred to by his Latinised single moniker –Nostradamus – was a French astrologer, apothecary, physician, and seer, best known for his 1555 book Les Prophéties, a collection of 942 poetic quatrains predicting future events.

A quatrain is a type of stanza, or a complete poem, consisting of four lines. It is alleged Nostradamus wrote in this form as a way to obscure the meanings of his prophecies to avoid being accused of heresy. Additionally, he used a mixture of French, Greek, Italian, Latin, and Provencal, a dialect of southern France, to obscure them further.

It’s believed that because he never extended his writings to the practice of magic, he never faced prosecution for heresy by the Inquisition and enjoyed a good relationship with the Vatican, History reports.

Baba Vanga predictions for 2023

Known as the “blind mystic,” Baba Vanga began making predictions of the future in the late 1970s. Blind since age 12, she died in 1996 at the age of 84. She left predictions for every year up to 5079. She hasn’t gotten all of her prophecies right, but followers claim she has an 85% accuracy rate. Several of the biggest predictions have come true.

Predictions that came true in the past

Her most famous accurate predictions are the election of Barack Obama, the 2004 tsunami, Brexit, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the sinking of the Russian Kursk submarine, and the rise of ISIS.

She is also credited with accurately predicting the rise of ISIS, the Chernobyl tragedy, the death of Princess Diana, and the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the Mirror reported.

For 2022, Baba Vanga predicted a huge flood taking place, specifically naming Australia and areas of Asia, saying they would be hit with “intense bouts of floods.” Additionally, she predicted significant droughts hitting cities around the world, which also came true in places such as England, France, Italy, Portugal, and the United States.

She also predicted a pandemic would be caused by a frozen virus in Siberia. While that pandemic part hasn’t happened yet, only a month ago, scientists did indeed find what they called a “zombie virus” from permafrost in Siberia and called it a “public health threat” amid flaws caused by global warming. Smithsonian reported that scientists had revived this 48,500-year-old virus, setting a world record.
