A violent lightning storm wreaked havoc over Lafayette Park on Thursday, directly outside the White House complex. The lightning struck four people, causing critical injuries. Two of the victims, James Mueller, 76, and Donna Mueller, 75, of Janesville, Wisconsin, died of their injuries. The other two, a man and a woman, remain hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, CBS reported. The massive strike can be seen on this Fox 5 video from a camera near the White House.
Doja Cat bizarrely shaves head and eyebrows
Grammy-winning rapper Doja Cat, 26, has bizarrely buzzed away her locks, shaving her head and her eyebrows, broadcasting the event on Instagram live. She told Vance she “never liked having hair,” Us Magazine reported.
“I was never supposed to have hair,” says Cat. “I don’t like having hair. I never liked having hair.”
The music star complained her wigs would “slide” and “peel” off her head due to moisture when she tried to enjoy activities.
“I couldn’t focus because I was more concerned with how I looked and how my hair was doing,” Doja said. “I cannot tell you one time since the beginning of my life that I’ve ever been like, ‘This is cool.’ I just do not like to have hair.”
Yahoo reported that Doja looked delighted with the razor in her hand as she went on to shave off her eyebrows.
Couple arrested after giving vodka shot to baby
A couple in the UK was arrested for child abuse after a video showed them giving a shot of vodka to their baby. The clip went viral on Facebook and soon after brought them a visit from the police, the New York Post reported. In the video, the child’s mother pours a shot of what appears to be vodka and then tilts the baby’s head back, making the liquid go down. The father is seen standing nearby, oblivious to what is occurring.
“Actions were taken to safeguard those involved, and a man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of child cruelty later the same day,” UK police said. The couple was released on bail and the child is back in their custody. A Kent County Council spokesperson said, “I can confirm social services are aware of this and have taken appropriate action.”
Cops hunt for Bradley Cooper doppelgänger robber
A robber who bears an uncanny resemblance to actor Bradley Cooper is being hunted by police in Georgia. Cameras at a Home Depot in McDonough photographed the Cooper look-alike wheeling out a flatbed cart containing a Bosch Rotary Laser Kit, Henry County Police said, Unilad reported. After cops posted the robber’s picture on Facebook seeking the public’s help in identifying the thief, people immediately sounded off about how closely he resembled Bradley Cooper.
“Sure it’s not a movie set with Bradley Cooper in the lead roll?” One user commented.
