Brady could be set to be paid millions in coming days, report

Under the terms of Brady’s contract with Tampa Bay, the Buccaneers could recoup up to $16 million of his signing bonus if he retires. However, if he continues into the 2022 season, his entire salary would be guaranteed on February 18, which would pay him the remaining $15 million of his $20 million signing bonus, according to Spotrac.

Did reporters jump the gun on Brady retirement notice?

If there is one absolute fact regarding Tom Brady’s retirement, reporters asked everyone but the quarterback himself. All the reports of his retirement come from sources, but Brady has yet to make his own statement on the matter.

Even some of Brady’s teammates deleted tweets and other social media posts which referenced the alleged retirement, Inc. reported.

Fans are blaming retirement on Brady’s wife Gisele Bundchen

Fox reported that many fans believe Brady still has at least another good season in him or more and are blaming his wife, fashion model wife, Gisele Bundchen, for pushing him into retirement. The couple has been married since 2009.

Fans took to Twitter with statements such as “Gisele one,” “Gisele said, ‘it’s time,'” and the humorous: “Dear Gisele, Thank you. Sincerely, NFL Defenses.”
