iPhone 14 Released, Steve Jobs’ Daughter Says It’s the Same As My 13

Apple released the iPhone 14 on Wednesday, and Steve Jobs’ daughter said, “it’s the same as my 13.” The company is also hyping a reworked feature that users hated the most as “a good reason” to update.

Apple releases the iPhone 14: What’s new?

Apple rolled out the four new versions of its market-dominating smartphones on Wednesday. The iPhone 14 comes with a variety of new features they hope will convince many to upgrade and others to switch.

The four new models are: the iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max.

In terms of design, they look pretty much the same as the iPhone 13 (more on that shortly). The iPhone 14 has a 6.1-inch screen, and the iPhone 14 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen, BuzzFeed reported.

The new iPhone 14 models will go on sale September 16.

New features

Like every new iPhone, there are several requisite upgrades.

The first is better battery life.

The second is the usual upgrade to the cameras, which includes a new 48-megapixel camera, improved sensors, a new action mode that promises smoother video, an ultra-wide camera, and a flash that is 10% brighter.

The third is a speedbump, with a brand-new chip as always, this time being the A16 Bionic. The faster chip is needed to power the highly sophisticated automatic photo processing for the new 48MP camera.

The iPhone pros have a brand-new “always-on” display which works even when the phone is locked. This will display pertinent “need to know” information such as the date and time, weather, Apple Watch fitness status, calendar appointments, and other information without having to go through the hassle of unlocking your phone.

New emergency features

Apple also debuted its new satellite-based emergency service that will be run in-house that can help find lost hikers or know if you’ve been in a car wreck and can call emergency services.

iPhone 14 hyping reworking of users’ most hated feature

On the software side of things, there is a reworking of an old feature, now called “The Dynamic Island.” In older versions, there was a banner that popped up and down at the top of your screen to show you notifications and controls for apps running in the background.

Even though iPhone users didn’t give the old version of the feature a whole lotta love, it’s now being branded as “a good reason” to upgrade all on its own, Unilad reported. This “shape-shifting, multitasking, head-turning, game-changing iPhone experience” will be featured on the Pro models.

Steve Jobs’ daughter says iPhone 14 is “the same as my 13”

Out of all the customers in the world, one would think Apple would want to impress Steve Jobs’ daughter. But upon seeing the new Apple iPhone 14, she was underwhelmed, to say the least, TMZ reported.

To demonstrate just how unimpressed she was with the new release, Eve Jobs, daughter of Steve and Laurene Powell Jobs, posted a meme of a guy at Christmas getting a shirt identical to the one he is wearing. Eve, 23, captioned the photo: “Me upgrading from iPhone 13 to iPhone 14 after Apple’s announcement today.”
