Cops slam Reddit sleuths for speculation over mystery item at student house

Investigators from the Moscow, Idaho, police department have slammed Reddit sleuths, saying they are creating a “huge distraction” in the murder case. They claimed the rampant online rumors are only making it harder for law enforcement to “stay on track,” MSN reported.

Moscow Police Captain Roger Lanier said “social media propagation” is making it “very, very frustrating for investigators,” as they try to find the perpetrator or perpetrators in the brutal stabbings of University of Idaho students.

However, a retired homicide detective and podcaster named Chris McDonough claimed he found a glove outside the house on November 28 and said that after pointing it out to law enforcement, it appeared the police were not aware of it before then.

Idaho student’s dad says “coward” cops haven’t told whole story and it’s putting other women at risk

Steve Goncalves, the father of slain University of Idaho student Kaylee Goncalves, is calling the local police “cowards” because they withheld information about the killer of his daughter and are putting other women at risk by doing so, The Daily Beast reported.

The dad made the comments in an interview with Fox published on Monday, where he revealed that the local corner told him his daughter Kaylee had several “big open gouges” on her body that “definitely did not match” the wounds of the other victims.

Steve said the wounds were to Kaylee’s liver and lungs, and he sees this as proof the attack was targeted and carried out by a “sadistic man.”

He wants cops to publicly acknowledge this information so that other women know what to look out for.
