David Robinson, the costar of Dog The Bounty Hunter’s TV series Dog’s Most Wanted died in late November after collapsing at his home for unknown reasons. An autopsy has finally identified the cause of death.

In November 2022, Dog the Bounty Hunter’s costar suddenly collapsed and died during a job-related video call in November.
Robinson had worked alongside Chapman in the series that only aired for one season in 2019. Robinson specialized in the “tech aspect of hunting,” according to his show profile. “It is hard to unplug from technology these days and David will use that to find you!”
Robinson’s wife Brooke announced his death in a post on Facebook. The couple had only been married six months, Fox reported.
“My husband David John Robinson passed away suddenly at our home on November 30, 2022,” Brooke wrote. “David was very healthy and was on a work call in our dining room at home when he collapsed.”
“Life saving maneuvers were attempted and paramedics were called,” Brooke continued. “David died in my arms.”
“The rumors of a heart attack and stroke have already been ruled out,” Brooke added.
Duane “Dog” Chapman confirmed Robinson’s death to Fox news.
“I’m shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of my right-hand man for many years, David Robinson,” Chapman told Fox. “Until we meet again, Brother.”
Circumstances surrounding 50-year-old Robinson’s death were unclear at the time, with officials ruling out a heart attack and stroke as causes of his death, while the exact cause was not identified, Taste of Country reported.
Autopsy finally reveals Robinson’s cause of death
One month after Robinson’s death on November 30, his wife Brooke revealed in an Instagram post an autopsy had confirmed what led to David’s sudden collapse.
The findings were contrary to reports in November that stated David’s death was not cardiac-related.
Brooke said the autopsy found that David had died as a result of critical coronary artery disease, the Daily Mail reported.
Brooke wrote that she was remembering David for “his smile that would light up the world, his amazing laugh, and just how generous and caring he was.”
“David was the most genuine and authentic man,” Brooke added. “We had a once-in-a-lifetime love, and that will continue to live forever.”
