Demi Lovato Says Tour Is Her Last, Cardi B’s Big Donation, Spears/Aguilera Feud

Demi Lovato says her next tour will be her last, Cardi B donates $100K to her alma mater, and a brewing spat between Britney and Christina.

Demi Lovato says her next tour will be her last

Pop singer Demi Lovato has revealed that she is struggling to get out of bed, saying that she “can’t do this anymore,” and announced that “this next tour” will be her last in a now-deleted Instagram post.

Lovato is currently on tour promoting her eighth studio album Holy Fvck, released last month, having kicked live dates off in São Paulo, Brazil, on 30 August.

“I’m so f***ing sick I can’t get out of bed,” Lavato wrote in the now-deleted post, the text of which was posted by Unilad. “I can’t do this anymore.”

“This next tour will be my last,” Lavato continued. “I love and thank you guys.”

“I barely have a voice,” Lovato added. “I’m gonna be pointing the mic to the audience a lot tonight. Please sing for me.”

It was on clear whether Lavato, by writing “next tour,” was referring to another leg of the Holy Fvck promotional tour or a future tour.

Cardi B donates $100K to alma mater, leaves staff in tears

Bronx-born rapper Cardi B made a visit on Tuesday morning to I.S. 232 Tuesday morning in NYC’s Morris Heights neighborhood, the public school where she attended grades 6 through 8.

The school’s principal and students were completely surprised by the unannounced visit. But they were stunned even more when Cardi B pulled out her checkbook and made a donation to the school and the sum of $100,000.

Cardi B told her alma mater she would like to see her donation go towards after-school programs, including tutoring and music or dance.

TMZ reported that “students let out a huge cheer when Cardi announced the donation, while teachers and administrators almost started crying.”

Feud is back on: Christina Aguilera unfollows Britney Spears after body-shaming post

The long-simmering feud between Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera is on again. The two have been sniping one another since 2002 after Christina released “Dirrty,” US Magazine reported.

The two rivals went at one another this week. The dust-up came after Spears made a post on social media that read, in part, “If I had Christina Aguilera’s dancers I would have looked extremely small.”

The body-shaming implication was obvious, Page Six reported.

Rather than letting things boil over into a war of words, Christina Aguilera unfollowed Britney Spears on Instagram, although that action alone spoke volumes and made headlines.
