Celebrity Mom Criticized for 3 Young Kids With Insanely Ripped Abs

Singer Jessie James Decker, wife of NFL star Eric Decker, is being slammed by trolls after pictures emerged of her kids wearing swimsuits that displayed their insanely ripped ab muscles.

Healthy kids, over-demanding parents, or Photoshop?

People online are heavily criticizing singer Jessie James Decker and former NFL player Eric Decker after pictures emerged that show the couple’s three children Vivianne, 8, and sons Eric Jr., 7, and Forrest, 4, wearing swimsuits. The problem? Those kids have six-pack abs!

People online posted comments ranging from saying the children looked “strange” to “photoshopped” to wondering if the kids were forced to engage in extreme workout regimens.

“It does look strange seeing 6 packs like that on 3 kids,” another commenter wrote. “No sugar I guess in that house.”

“If that’s not photoshop, they need to rethink their ‘healthy’ lifestyle,” yet another commenter wrote.

Jessie credited genetics and “elite” physical training for the ripped abs of her children, the Daily Mail reported.

Jessie James Decker hits back at online trolls over kids’ abs

The comments came fast and furious after singer Jessie James Decker, famous for her song “Should Have Known Better,” showed off the highly chiseled abdominal muscles of her three children in a Nov. 26 Instagram posted photo, E! Online reported.

“I didn’t plan on addressing this because it’s bonkers but the photos are out there and every single news outlet has posted about this,” Jessie posted on Monday on Instagram. “When I posted the pix of our vacation and included the kids being silly flexing on the beach on our Thanksgiving trip, I had NO clue it would get the reaction it did.”

“That doesn’t look right … Sorry, not sorry,” one Instagram user wrote, commenting on the kids’ abs.

Another user called them “strange,” Yahoo reported.

After the numerous comments, Jessie clapped back, writing: “It’s a sad world we live in today when having healthy fit kids who are super active, play sports, build muscle naturally is ‘weird.'”

“From one mother to another,” Jessie continued, “please don’t call my children’s appearance strange just because they don’t look the way you think they should – It’s unkind.”

No stranger to online body shamers

Jessie herself has been the target of online body shamers. She commented about a Reddit page that she said: “rips me apart on a daily basis.”

“They’re talking about how apparently fat I’ve gotten and how boxy and how terrible my body looks and they’re accusing me of editing my body and all these things,” Jessie said in an Instagram Story in 2021, ” It’s pretty awful and I just cannot believe this is still happening in the world, that people are doing this.”

“When you are writing blogs and stories and bullying me about how much weight I’ve gained and how fat my thighs are, I do take that offensively because what is the messaging that you are sharing?” Jessie asked. “It’s mean and it’s bullying and it’s not OK and I hope my daughter doesn’t grow up in a world where people do this to her because it’s wrong and I think we all need to do better.”
