Amber Heard Still Loves Johnny, Not Cut from Aquaman 2, Sued Again?

Legal expert says Amber Heard could be sued again for “republishing” her abuse allegations against Depp in a Today interview, while the actress denies being cut from Aquaman 2 and says she still loves Johnny.

Entertainment lawyer says Heard interview with Today could spur another lawsuit

In the recent interview with the Today Show, Heard doubled down on allegations that Depp was physically violent during their marriage and accused him of “lying” on the stand when he claimed he “never hit her.”

Entertainment lawyer Nicole Haff told The Daily Mail that her recent interview with Today could count as a new “publication” under the law.

According to MincLaw.com: “An individual who repeats or republishes defamation will be subject to the same liability as the publisher of the original defamatory material,’ something known as republishing. which could be subject to the same liability as the original defamatory material.”

However, Heard’s attorneys have already stated that she cannot pay the judgment from the just-completed trial, so it’s unlikely there would be much financial benefit in pursuing another lawsuit.

Heard denies being cut from Aquaman 2

Rumors continue to swirl that Amber Heard is being cut from her role in Aquaman 2, the sequel to the 2018 movie Aquaman. An online petition to get Heard dropped from the film gained 4.6 million signatures in a matter of weeks.

Heard’s scenes were shot nearly a year ago and she was paid $2 million, as she stated in court according to TMZ.

A report on the website Just Jared, quoting the source with inside knowledge, claimed: “Warner Bros. decided to recast Amber Heard’s role after screentesting the movie. They are going to be doing reshoots with [her former co-stars] Jason Momoa and Nicole Kidman.”

The Daily Mail reached out to Warner Bros. for comment, while a spokesperson for Heard told the Mail: “The rumor mill continues as it has from day one – inaccurate, insensitive, and slightly insane.”

Heard tells Today she still loves Johnny Depp

In the second part of Amber Heard’s interview with Savannah Guthrie of NBC’s Today Show, she revealed that she still loves Johnny Depp.

“I love him,” Heard confessed. “I loved him with all my heart.”

“I have no bad feelings or ill will toward him at all,” Heard added, in spite of her accusations of physical and psychological abuse.

“I tried the best I could to make a deeply broken relationship work,” Heard explained. “And I couldn’t. I have no bad feelings or ill will toward him at all.”

“I know that might be hard to understand, or it might be really easy to understand,” Heard continued. “If you’ve just ever loved anyone, it should be easy.”
