On Monday, two Russian lawmakers said the Kremlin is investigating the blood of Ukrainian POWs, having already found “evidence” of human experimentation. The lawmakers are accusing the US of creating super-soldiers.
Russia accuses Ukraine, US of biologically enhancing soldiers
The topic of trans-humanism being used to create super soldiers has long been a conspiracy theory. But now, the Kremlin is claiming that it is a fact. Some representatives are citing it as the reason Ukraine is holding off the massive Russian army, the New York Post reported.
The Kremlin says it believes that Ukraine has launched a “dangerous military-biological project” with help from the United States to create a type of mutant super-soldiers it described as “cruel killing machines,” Unilad reported.
Russia says it has evidence of mutant blood in POWs
Russian lawmakers told reporters this week the Kremlin is conducting investigations on Ukrainian prisoners of war and has already found “evidence” of experimentation, the Russian news agency Kommersant reported.
Russian Senator Konstantin Kosachev, the deputy speaker of Russia’s Federation Council, claimed to reporters that the blood examined from Ukrainian prisoners so far contains pathogen traces that indicate “a number of diseases, including those atypical for the territory of Ukraine.”
“Experiments were made on them and experiments were carried out on the territory of Ukraine on extremely dangerous diseases, which under certain circumstances could be distributed for military purposes,” Kosachev added.
Those alleged diseases included hepatitis A and West Nile fever.
Trans-human Ukrainian soldiers turned into “cruel killing machines”
Going further with the claims, Irina Yarovaya, deputy chair of the State Duma, said the aim of the human experimentation was to create soldiers who were more vicious.
“And we see: the cruelty and barbarity with which the military personnel of Ukraine behave, the crimes that they commit against the civilian population,” Yarovaya said. “Those monstrous crimes that they commit against prisoners of war, confirm that this system for the control and creation of a cruel murder machine was implemented under the management of the United States.”
“And those performance enhancing drugs that they are still given in order to completely neutralize the last traces of human consciousness and turn them into the most cruel and deadly monsters also confirm this,” Yarovaya added.
Earlier conspiracy theories falsely claimed US operating 46 bio labs in Ukraine
These bizarre claims follow earlier widely disproven allegations that the United States and Ukraine are secretly developing bio-weapons together. This led to a conspiracy theory running like wildfire that the US had funded 46 bio labs in Ukraine and had “admitted it.”
However, according to fact-checking website PolitiFact, those claims are false. The US Department of Defense (DoD) issued a fact sheet specifically stating that Ukraine “has no nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons programs.”
