Patrick Mahomes’ brother allegedly under police investigation

Jackson Mahomes, 22, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is allegedly under police investigation for two separate assaults involving a waiter and a female restaurant owner.

Police investigating younger brother of Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes for a pair of alleged assaults

In the first allegation, Jackson is alleged to have shoved a 19-year-old male waiter, who has requested anonymity.

In the second allegation, Jackson is accused of forcibly kissing Aspen Vaughn, the 40-year-old female owner of Aspen’s Restaurant and Lounge, Yahoo reported. The restaurant is located in Overland Park, Kansas.

According to the allegations, on February 25, Jackson reportedly arrived at Aspen’s Restaurant and Lounge with five friends. The group reportedly went into an office in the basement, where they blocked the 19-year-old waiter, who was attempting to grab his water bottle, from entering.

After Jackson’s group left the basement office, they eventually moved to a VIP room upstairs. Reportedly, Vaughn detected the odor of marijuana drifting from that room and requested that Jackson’s party stop smoking.

An alternate report says the waiter was the one that detected the odor of marijuana and had tried to get the group to stop, according to TMZ.

Second alleged assault captured on video

The second alleged assault involves the owner of Aspen’s Restaurant and Lounge, Aspen Vaughn, a 40-year-old female.

After the alleged incident with the waiter, Mahomes reportedly asked to speak privately with Vaughn.

Surveillance footage has emerged, which made its way onto social media, that allegedly captures the assault taking place, TMZ reported.

Mahomes met with Vaughn in the basement office, and that’s when he is alleged to have grabbed her by the neck.

Jackson stands accused of wrapping his arms around Vaughn and forcibly kissing her at least twice, which the video appears to show.

Vaughn reportedly said she made it clear to Jackson that his advances were unwelcome. Jackson Mahomes stands 6-foot-6.

Jackson’s attorney refutes claims

So far, authorities have not released a report of the incident, the Kansas City Star reported.

An attorney for Jackson Mahomes issued a statement refuting the allegations.

“Jackson has done nothing wrong,” Jackson’s attorney Brandon Davies said in a statement. “Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”
