Halloween Fright: Woman’s Temporary Skeleton Face Tattoo Won’t Come Off

A woman has found herself in an awkward situation after applying some temporary tattoo stickers to transform her face into a scary skeleton, but now the fright is her own as it won’t wash off and she has to go to work!

Woman applies temporary tattoo stickers to transform her face into a skeleton for Halloween

A 46-year-old UK woman named Elizabeth Rose, who is also a grandmother, bought some scary-looking tattoo stickers to transform herself and her granddaughter into skeletons for Halloween, The Sun reported.

The look was pretty spooky but what happened the next day would prove to be much more frightening.

The skeleton tattoo stickers have a fake gash with stitches going across her forehead, as well as an ear-to-ear skeletal jaw and rows of teeth stretching across her face.

Her story is now going viral online, but not for how scary her makeup looks – which it does – but for the unfortunate situation this grandmother found herself in the next day.

Over 1.6 million people have viewed it and are getting a laugh out of the situation, but for this poor woman, it’s no laughing matter, Unilad reported.

The next morning, the tattoos wouldn’t wash off… and she had a meeting at work.

Halloween nightmare: Temporary tattoo sticker become semi-permanent

The next morning, the woman desperately scrubbed her face trying to get the so-called “temporary” tattoos to come off, to no avail.

She used a cotton pad but that didn’t help.

In the video, the woman curses, saying she has meetings to attend.

Social media users started chiming in with advice for different things she could try including rubbing alcohol and alcohol-based hand sanitizer, while others suggested nail varnish remover, baby oil, olive oil, or vodka.

Woman forced to attend work meeting with Halloween makeup after the holiday

With Halloween over, it was back to business as usual. But for Elizabeth Rose, it would be back to business, with a dose of the unusual.

The woman revealed in the video posts that, with the makeup still not coming off, she had no choice but to attend her work meeting – skeletal face makeup and all, the Daily Mail reported.

One person commented: “I’m sure the people at your meeting will see the funny side.”

“They just thought I had a lot of blusher on,” the woman replied.

Solution finally found

The temporary tattoo sticker was a combination of design and clear film that adheres to the skin.

In a video the woman posted after she had to attend her awkward post-Halloween work meeting with the design still on her face, she showed herself trying some of the suggestions given by people online. To her surprise, using the sticky side of packing tape lifted the temporary tattoo off her face with ease.

After the tape worked, the woman said she didn’t need to try the other methods, adding: “I might as well drink the vodka and be done with it.”
