German Man Has Four Children with Sister

A 44-year-old man and his 37-year-old sister, who have four children together, “do not feel guilty.” The man continues his legal fight in the “name of human rights”.

Guy has four children with his sister, won’t let the law stop love

Patrick Stuebing, 44, from Leipzig, Germany, and his sister Susan Karolewski, 37, came from a troubled family.

At only three, Patrick’s violent father attacked him. Patrick was made a ward of the court and then adopted out.

Susan was born into the same unhappy family on the same day her parents had finalized their divorce, the Daily Mail reported.

The mother would leave Susan alone while she entertained lovers. The child grew up poorly educated and barely able to write.

The pair also had six other siblings, some who died in childhood and others born with disabilities.

When Patrick reached the age of 18, he decided to try to find his biological parents. At the age of 22, after a four-year search, he tracked down his mother and met his sister Susan.

Patrick moved in with his mother and allowed him to share a bedroom with Susan, who was 15 at the time.

“We both stayed up late into the night to talk to each other about our hopes and dreams,” Patrick says.

Their mother, Anna Marie, died of a heart attack only six months later. One of their disabled brothers, Andre, died the same year.

Patrick says, “I became head of the family, and I had to protect my sister.”

“She is very sensitive, but we helped each other during this very difficult period, and eventually that relationship became physical,” Patrick added.

Months later, they began sleeping together, court documents revealed.

“We didn’t even know we were doing anything wrong when we started sleeping together,” Patrick claims. “We didn’t know it was illegal to sleep together.”

At age 16 in 2001, Susan gave birth to a baby boy. He was taken into care, and now at the age of 20, he can hardly speak properly or walk.

In 2003, a baby girl was born who suffered similar disabilities as her brother.

In 2004, another daughter was born who appears to be normal.

In 2005, Susan gave birth to another daughter.

Patrick has since been sterilized.

Human rights: Couple fighting to make incest legal

In 2012, Patrick and Susan vowed to make an effort to change Germany’s laws that make sex between siblings illegal. They took their legal challenge to The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. However, the couple lost the case.

The couple continues their fight to make their love legal.
