Elon Musk Threatened by Russia

Russia’s space agency threatened Elon Musk as an enemy of the state for providing Internet to Ukrainians while he joked on Twitter about dying under mysterious circumstances. Musk’s mom isn’t laughing

Russia threatens Elon musk over providing Internet to Ukrainians

Dmitry Rogozin, the head of the Russian space agency, Roscosmos, sent a message to Russian media, which Elon Musk reposted to Twitter, still in the Russian language and alphabet. As translated by Ladbible, it read:

“Starlink satellite company Elon Musk was delivered to the militants of the Nazi Azov Battalion and the Marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Mariupol by military helicopters.

“According to our information, the Pentagon carried out the delivery and transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine of PO boxes for receiving and transmitting the Internet from Starlink.

“Elon Musk is thus involved in supplying fascist forces in Ukraine with military communications. And for this, you will have to answer in an adult way, Elon, no matter how you turn on the fool.”

Why is Russia mad at Elon Musk?

In another one of Elon Musk’s ventures, his SpaceX rocket company began the development of the Starlink constellation of low Earth orbit satellites in 2015 to provide satellite Internet access. The company now has a reported 2000+ satellites in operation, according to the Daily Mail.

In February, Ukraine asked Musk for help with Starlink satellites to replace the loss of Internet access due to Russian attacks.

Musk complied and stated that his company had “resisted hacking and jamming attempts” from Russians back in April that focused on SpaceX efforts.

Elon Musk posts about dying at the hands of the Russians

The news circulated in recent years about various people being poisoned by the Russians seems to be the basis for Elon Musk’s joke (or not) following the threat made to him by Russia in naming him an enemy of the state.

On Sunday, May 8, Elon Musk tweeted: “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya.”

Elon Musk’s mom not laughing

Elon Musk’s mom wasn’t laughing at the joke he posted on Twitter on Mother’s Day about dying at the hands of the Russians.

Elon’s mother, Maye Musk, responded to the tweet, writing: “That’s not funny.” She also added a few angry-faced emojis.

“Sorry!” Elon responded to his mother. “I will do my best to stay alive.”

Russia’s history of poisoning its enemies

There has been a long history of people allegedly poisoned by the Russians, including most famously opposition leader Alexey Navalny in August 2020,

Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in March 2018, and two British nationals in June 2018, to name a few.
